Stage 2 focuses on building a solid foundation of climbing techniques and good habits to help athletes gain confidence through experience, exploration and encouragement. Movements, techniques, and vocabulary will become second nature through application. Coaches will begin to help athletes challenge themselves at their own pace in multiple environments and games
After completing two to four terms, athletes should be easily completing all level 2’s and some 3’s bouldering, and get to the top of all the autobelays. All the athletes will be given a report card at the end of each term to track their progress.
